How to get ET on Win7?

Hi guys

anyone of you know how to get ET working on windows 7?
maybe i'll come back

install it.
run it.
play it.

Probably need to run it as administrator.

if you try to just copy it it might not copy all necessery files so reinstall is always good thing to do BUT REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR ET KEY!!!!

hell yeah, vista wasnt even meant to be good, its just there, between two better OS xp and 7, but 7 is far more stable and compatible than vista or xp, and xp is great OS for performance in worse computers.

I think im gonna switch to tablet pc's (first get a job again). Windows sucks and I don't wanna get used to an other OS.

well thats kinda true aswell, im just too lazy to get to know mac or linux but i do have some live cd's with linux but just pure lazyness.

I've heard quite a lot of complaints about Vista, but i seem to like it. I find it better than XP, i think i do, havent touched XP in such a long time i forgot what it was like!

Is it true that MAC cant get viruses? I dont wanna use MAC cos some games may not work on it.

vista is like a cheap transition from xp to win 7 just to let people get used to win 7, also you may be lucky enough cause my vista was buggy as F

Vista - we don't speak of it.

XP is easy. It's been out there for ten years and everyone's just used to it. Needless to say however - 10 years in computers is like a lifetime.
For performance - Older operating systems are awesome.
For eye-candy, the new Direct X 11, supported by "7", is awesome-r.
Each new version of Windows has bigger and bigger user restrictions. When compared with XP, Vista is like an operating system for the handicapped. All the "big" settings and controls have been hidden from view.
I hated Windows 7 when I first used the release candidate. For instance, the screen resolution, wallpaper, screen saver and themes were all in one place in XP. In 7, they are all scattered across different menus. If you know what you're looking for, then it's easier in the latest OS. It takes 5 clicks to change the screen resolution in windows 7. It took 6 in XP if I remember correctly.
I love the start button search engine though. It saves me so much trouble when finding stuff.

Energy, what was so buggy about your Vista? I cant think of any annoying big on mine. The only i would want to change back to XP is to play a game called Splinter Cell Double Agent which they said does not work on Vista or is very buggy.

Urms, how can it be that older systems are more powerful ? I thought that the latese are supposed to be the best? What about for games? So do like Windows 7 now?

Older systems aren't more powerful. They require less of your system's valuable resources. For instance - Crysis requires you to have a 2.8 GHz or faster (for XP) or 3.2 GHz or faster (for 7).
So if you're running an old OS, you'll get a slight "performance boost".

Oh ok now i understand. Yeah thats true. Hope Windows 7 doesnt need more hardware upgrades more than Vista. Luckily i have a dual core 2.7 Ghz, which i think is good for gaming.

well ever wondered why is there like 10 windows upgrades a week? and i personally i had few problems with internet but fixed when gone to win 7, ohh and also yesterday windows 7 awaited service pack 1 is out =D, and yes xp is faster than vista or windows 7 but personally i rather fancy looking OS, ofcourse not mentioning that my windows 7 is kinda "borrowed" but i got good loader so i can still do upgrades.
