Desktop Shortcut To {GTB} Server.
How to make an easy shortcut to The {GTB} Server.
Right click the ET Shortcut on your desktop shortcut and click copy.
Right click anywhere on the desktop and click paste.
So you should have a copy of that shortcut as well as the 1st one.
Right click the new one that you have just copied and go to properties.
Click on the shortcut tab up top in the middle of general and compatibility it might already be on that tab but just in case you should check.
you will see;
Target type : Application
Target Location: Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory
Target : "C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe"
Delete what is in that text box beside target and replace it with.
"C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe" +set net_port 5286 +set net_qport 4849 +connect 217.163.25.17:27960
Just copy and paste from here, if you get any bother with it saying awaiting gamestate when you start it up just change the ports.
The ports for this is 5286 and 4849 try changing the last 2 digits on each.
