Map SandHeli

Well the complain is every1 is jumping the wall : North and south its even easy with single jump if u all look good there are some crates in front of the wall so...
what to do? I really like the map but more then six players already jumped the wall and i didnt really wanted to give them a !warn or just saying it.

There are a few bugs with most of the new maps we have been trying.

I assume that's why they are not played very often (if at all) on others servers.

I was trying to make our server a bit different by playing these maps but it will backfire once in a while.

If I knew how to do it I would modify them myself.

I just haven't got the time to learn anything new at the minute.

Is there a way where i can find out how to edit maps?
I'll try to learn and edit maps if i figure it out.

GTK Radient is what people use to make and edit maps.

I can't even work out how to open any map other than Goldrush.

If I could figure that out I reckon I'd be halfway there

granny all new maps a great and awsome but some like this one here is not good.
but that not means all new maps a crap and i like them they are new so new strategy and maybe new players

I agree, I think it's nice to play different maps which is why I work so hard to waypoint maps that nobody else has done.

I like to think it makes our server Unique.

We are bound to have bugs with these now and then, but if we don't try them we will never know.

However, I have just removed Sandhel and replaced it with a map I waypointed today (Ammo Bunker)

It's from the same map maker I think but I couldn't see any problems with it when I was waypointing so hopefully it wil be ok.

if you know a program to make and edit maps with i could teach myself that, and make us some amazing custom maps!

GTK Radiant 1.3.8-ET is the best one I am led to believe.

Ok, i've downloaded it adn going to play with it.
As i know how it works i let you know so i can edit the maps (also found tutorial)

you start editing them!
im making my own in this very moment.
so far ive managed to make a box with a sky floor and walls AND an axis spawnpoint in it! ha! try beat that

I don't want to make my own map (yet) I just want to be able to change certain maps.

Would be nice to raise the walls on this map or remove the wooden crates so people cant jump wall and block off the other way in.

if i find something to turn the pk3 into a .map i can replace the walls by higher ones, i dont know if i can get quite the same texture on it tho...

Even better remove the boxes and raise the wall

removing those will be tricky, i havent quite figered how to do that

Simply raise the wall and the "Jump over the wall" Problem is gone
