Hunk_Alloc failed on 86272

Guys i have a problem. Everytime the map Northpole loads it quits saying Hunk_Alloc failed on 86272. Why? Help? I am now running Windows Vista, can that be a possible reason why?

No mate, you need to set com_hunkmegs to 96

Maybe more, i think Urms has his set to 512

If it's any consolation, Chef has the problem too.

I searched the internet and set hunkmegs to 128 from the console but thanks for the info anyway.

If people get this error then they should look up all of the autoexec.cfg's (yes, there are more than one, 1 for NQ, 1 for etmain - the original one, 1 for ETPro - if you have that, 1 for JayMod - if you have that too, and 1 for every mod you have) and change the /com_hunkmegs cvar to 128 or higher

but NQ wouldnt use anything above 96 maybe its changed with updates and im too lazy to look again :p

512 Worked for me and i didn't get kicked on the fueldump map like i have been so many times before

Yep, i also have /com_hunkmegs 512 and everything is good as before, otherwise I would be kicked for hunkallocate blablabla when Northpole ended and when I wanted to play Pantherbase.

How do you set hungmegs to 128?
Could some of you say it in staps please, i think i have the same problem.

Well you can better place the command for hunkmegs in your exec.cfg
Command: /com_hunkmegs 128 or 256 whatever u like, it doesn always work when u type this in console!

It's:

seta com_hunkMegs "128"

I put that in my main and noquarter profiles and don't have any more problems.
