Slow Connection

Hi

My connection is very slow. I heard Urms had the same problem so this is also a question from urms. Does somebody have tips/hints to speed up your connection? Always i load a new map my screen freezes or i get kicked for 'unknown reason'. Could someone help?

I think the kick is due to a bug in NQ but I am not 100% sure.

All I can suggest is that you turn off xfire and msn.

Either that or Google it.

i got a new connection with which i can download up to over 1000 kb/s ao it must be my pc or the game

hmm even with a pretty powerfull PC, you cant have a super ping and super FPS on the same time.
its weird but ET seems to suck in every single bit of power you have, but not fully return it.
i think the cause is unknown, but i dont have this with most of the new games...
so it might be both ET and your comp...

Now i have the same problem again, and not only with et, also with internet!
My virus scanner (hitman pro 3) couldn't find a virus so that doesn't cause it.
But still my pc freezes. If i already can come in our server, my screen freezes in two minutes. Does someone has suggestions how i get rid of this problem? Thanks anyway

remove all the dust in your PC
check if all your vents are working.
n maybe its just a weird windows error, wouldnt be the first one.
which version do you run on?

I removed a kilogram of dust fom my sister's laptop. She said that the computer's vent was working all the time and it got really hot.
