Admin names.

Hey guys.

I have an suggestion.
Can we make the admin levels have an specific name?
Than it would look like

!admintest
{GTB} MAKARI?!# is an Level 4 User ({GTB} Corporal)

Here are the names i prefer.

Level 1 Admin's name = Friend of the server.
Level 2 Admin's name = Good friend of the server.
Level 3 Admin's name = {GTB} Private first Class.
Level 4 Admin's name = {GTB} Corporal.
Level 5 Admin's name = {GTB} Sergeant.
Level 6 Admin's name = {GTB} Chief.
Level 7 Admin's name = {GTB} Lieutenant.
Level 8 Admin's name = {GTB} Captain.
Level 9 Admin's name = {GTB} Colonel.
Level 10 Admin's name = {GTB} General Of The Clan/Army(Pick which one u prefere)


I hope you guys will think about it.
It will be very cool if granny will be able to give the admin levels a name.

I did try something like this before then got rid of it.

Can't remember why though.

How about {GTB} Staff Sargeant instead of {GTB} Chief?? I'd say it's better.

However, on the whole, I see no moral/meaning in doing this and it should be left as it is. But if the majority wants it, then it goes ahead.

Granny , i didnt mean we in the way of "WE can make this" but "We" in changing the names.

I think its just a cool extra birra...

only an admin when he uses the !listplayers command...

IMO we have too many levels anyway.

But I think I got outvoted when we discussed having less in the admin section.

Granny reduced the amont of admin levels because scrubbot was getting full.
So i don't think this is a good idea to do this unless whe reduce the amont of admin levels to let us say 5

I'd say 5 would be great.

And i don't see the point in renaming the ranks. it willl just encourage the players to use the !admintest command EVEN MORE.

And i we get 5, which lvls are members and admin?

Than i would rather like it to stay it at 10 levels.

Well, advantage of 5 lvls is that scubbot memory isnt full, so there is stuff for more then only the admin lvls

It isn't hard work it's just whether doing it is worth the work.

At one point I disabled admintest because I got fed up of nearly every member doing it every time I connected.

I thought it was still disabled to be honest.

I am more inclined to put some work into something that's worth while as and when I get the chance to do things.

I have a list a mile long of things I want to do but it's a case of prioritising them.

No it isn't disabled, if i am not mistaken even level 2 can do admintest...i do see what makari is saying, but i don't see much point, to be honest, it would just cause some people to keep doing admintest, which is damned annoying....the top admins don't even use the command very often, I know i don't. Above all it means Granny has to waste valuable time sorting it, when i'm sure he can think of more benefical things to be doing...like.... drinking....oops did i say that out loud. That is the "job" you have when you buy a server.

As I said though, I am concentrating more at the minute on things that NEED to be done.

I haven't got a limitless amount of time to do all that I want so some things just have to wait until I have no more pressing things to do.

I too like to get on and kill you all as much as possible because all work and no play makes Granny cry as you all know.

It's not just the server, I am working on the website as much as I can lately trying to learn dreamweaver and macromedia flash.

Also I am going to try and learn all the Adobe stuff so my playtime is pretty much thinned out across all these at the minute.

Oh yes, I also have a wife, son, two dogs and a job in the fire brigade to consider as well as the neverending call of the pub.

I'll get round to it all though, honest !
