Re: Wolfenstein
Adjust all the setting to lower quality.
Had the same problem at first and then lowered resolution, shades, details, ....
all to medium (still great grafiks).
Have played it sunday for a couple of hours, but need some more time now

Re: Wolfenstein
Try turning off programs that you are not using i don't Know if it will work but it has on some of my games. Or your processor is not high enough to run it properly.

Of course, you all have paid for and perfectly legal copies of this game don't you?
Damned 'professional standards'.......

Re: Wolfenstein
It's Stefkes fault, no Slayer, no Urms I mean, I don't even know what Wolfenstein is.
I was out robbing a bank when all this happened.

A bank robbery? Then you should be able to afford some hush money.
I'm only jealous because my pc won't run Wolfenstein - my other half, however, has just taking delivery of a grands worth of cutting edge computeryness and I have plod along with my feeble laptop or my 5 year old desktop in the spare room.
It's not fair and i may have to cut her brake cable and claim the lovely, shiny western goods for myself.

Re: Wolfenstein
A custom build from a company called Mesh Computers
8Gb ram
3.2Gb quad core processor
2Tb Hard disk
1Gb ATi graphics accelerator
22 inch Full HD monitor
7.1 surround sound sound card
etc etc
I won't embarrass myself by listing what I'm getting by with

Re: Wolfenstein
Well. I have Windows 7. I'm just going to show off with that.
It doesn't matter that my boot up time is a day and a half...
And i can't get my FPS to go higher than 10.

Re: Wolfenstein
i would.
I have had about 250 - 350 gigabytes worth of Movies. If i didn't have to delete them all the time. (Now i just have to delete the old and download new ones)
In addition to that, TV shows, Music, Other media and Pictures...
So i would really like a huge storing space :>

Re: Wolfenstein
Now I'm getting REALLY jealous of her gaming machine, so I'm thinking maybe I should upgrade to something newer or something better. OR, put the money towards getting a motorbike next year?
What do you guys reckon, new gaming desktop or motorbike?

Re: Wolfenstein
I have perfect solution for you.
Buy my motorbike and I'll get a new PC.
When it rains, say you can't go out on bike and that you're bored.
Keep saying it and saying it until she finally cracks and says you can have new pc.
Or maybe she will leave you and forget to take her PC.
Either way, everyone will be happy.
