Re: cant connect
Have you been deleting some important files?
I had the same error when i deleted some "unknown map files".
You need to reinstall the game.
No need to delete the maps. Just start by saving your etkey to my documents or somewhere.
First you need to uninstall the game though in case you have any broken files. Just go to the control panel. Select "Add or remove programs" Select ET from there and click "Change/Remove". Once it's done uninstalling, you need to reinstall the game.
Find the wolfet.exe file from Gran's website. If you have it already, then it's simpler.
Just install the game. Then install the 2.60 patch. and ONLY if you've installed the 2.60 patch you should install the 2.60b patch.
Run the game from your desktop. If you connect to our server directly, you won't create a profile or enable PB and don't get an ETkey and that causes problems. If you've created a profile in the game then you are ready.
Quit the game, drag the ETkey you saved to the etmain folder and connect to the server. The allies need your help!

Re: cant connect
ok... thanks for your help We figured it out easier... Zylet just deleted all *.pk3 files from "etmain" folder except mp_bin.pk3, pak0.pk3, pak1.pk3 and pak2.pk3. and this allowed him to help allies )

Re: cant connect
Those files wasn't necessary, i mean there were only maps files so he can redownload them. Everything is working fine for him so I reasume it was a good solution... mayby not the best one but a good i think.
