Re: LaGG
I never downloaded a big game before. The only illegally downloaded cracked games i ever played before where downloaded by my brother. There are also many many sites and pirate bays where you can donwload games. But there are so many that i dont even bother to look well. And some sites give viruses or you dont get what you download. You think you're donwloading a game but instead u get some rubbish or an inappropiate movie. And on all these pirate bays you have to stay creating an account and/or pay money. And my brother says u can get caught by authorities so i dont do anything. So i just buy games which i really want. When prices go down ill get Crysis 2 and Mafia 2.
By the way Energy u said Crysis 2 runs fine with only 2GB RAM. You have Vista? I do.

Re: LaGG
gawd dont start me on os comparison but i have win 7 much better for gaming sucks less ram than vista and yeah 2 gb is fine on advanced settings which is like antistropic 4 antyaliasing 16 and medium/high settings, but for hardcore settings you really need these 3 or 4 gig ram cause you can notice the lagg but apart from that im running 9800gt dont really need to oc but i can go to 715/1787/1140 without artifacts after 1140 ram freq i get artifacts and it oftebn crashes :[ but 9800gt on 550core(green edition) is honestly good enough gamin card, blackops maxed no probs mw2 constanly maxed although small problem when running extra spec, hot persuit maxed no prob, crysis 1/2 *high setting runs fine, only thnig is that im limited to 29mhz so i wont see more than 29 fps i really need to throw my monitor out of the window and buy a new one

Re: LaGG
I've always owned an ATI card. Except for this one time that i needed a PCI-E card real fast and had no money. I then bought an Nvidia card. It was MSI N8400GS with the passive heatsink and a "low profile". I stuck a fan to that heatsink though. It was getting crazy hot.
But the thing actually ran Crysis.
Also, only Intel CPU-s. No exceptions.

Re: LaGG
Energy: with 2GB ram and 8600gt i managed to run crysis with some settings on medium and some on high. but now i have 9500gt, so i guess there should be a minor difference in performance.
Urms: i thought AMD were better than Intel for gaming.

tbh i would rather 8600gt than 9500gt but oh well 8 or 9 are just series basically time when released the important is the 3rd number its from 4-9 4 beign crap and 9 beign best in series, and amd makes better priced stuff for similar performance to more expensive nvidia i would have choosen amd if i wouldnt get a bargain on my 9800gt

Wait Energy so u saying my 9500gt is WORSE then 8600gt? I remember checkins some specs on the net before i bought it and 9500 had some slighty better things.

Re: LaGG
not saying worse but you probably noticed very little to none improvement generally 9500gt is a better 8600gt with higher clocks by little, what you might have noticed is that is consumes slighly more power but runs much cooler cause it runs on 65nm processor rather than 80nm. also one important thing is your 9500gt a ddr2 or 3 cause theres many cheap crap on ebay thats ddr2 that are priced at ddr3

Re: LaGG
for major improvement i would try atleast 9800gt like this one

40 pounds for a factory overclocked card that is easily compatible with crysis 2 high

try a freeware program called gpu-z, it shows all info about your gpu just simpler, also Speccy from trusted company info about your whole computer hardware, or if you are a pirate then everest ultimate is the bset program out there but its payable unless you obv crack it
