teamspeak

Hi there,
ReX has come up with another great idea ^^
i think people who have either a headset or an microphone should get on teamspeak as soon as theyre goin into the server, this for several reasons.
1. its just fun *blinks to geko and quinks*
2. you can discus tactics
3. if someone needs help with something (eg. problem with a setting, etc.) its alot easier to explain

lately i have been on teamspeak for most of the time that im on the comp,
chaos gladiator and Xplo too, but thats not enough i think
also i have a suggestion to you granny:
maybe you could make rooms for people for different countries eg. a dutch room, english room, etc.
some people cant speak english very well and avoid TS because of that maybe they feel more confident then.
IF you want to do this and need help with TS i will surely be there to help

I had thought about creating rooms for each language then decided not to.

Can't remember the exact reasons why though.

I think it was because there were a few single players from various countries at the time and didn't want them being excluded.

I don't particulary enjoy TS so very rarely go on there.

When I do go on there I have usually forgotten how to manage it.

Just so everyone knows, I don't insist on English just because I happen to be English.

Most people that have been here have a grasp of English and it seems that it is the most universally known language that we are likely to come across playing ET.

As far as I know, you all learn English at school, and I am told that being forced to speak it here has helped many people with their school work.

Over here in England, I just learned French at school like most English people.

Fat lot of good that's done me !

I only insist that people that can speak English do so if they want to globally communicate.

This is so that everyone understands what is being said.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to play on any server where they couldn't understand what is being said.

A mixed up reply I know, but I kept going back and adding little bits, hope it makes sense.

and btw whose the server admin?

I thought I set up all that server admin stuff, but it didn't seem to be there when I was there the other day.

I probably logged in wrong.

I am the Big Giant Head but I think there were a couple of other admins, Urms and Fireol I think, not too sure.

As for the idea, I have no objections as long as nobody (Guests too if there ever are any) is excluded and I fail to see how that can be avoided.

you can remove my admin from TS as i hardly ever use it

I think you mean Urmsey is back the spam monster.

Seems urmseys spamming role and title, has been taken off him by the legend it is, me

if I'd have my PC and my mic/speakers, i'd use it.

i use it occasionally

i dont use it anymore, when we had scrims and quinks it was every day around 3 hours ts.

i don't use teamspeak because i'll not know what somebody speaking to me

Never used it before so dont think im gonna use it later neither
