Hey guys my friend got ET on his new Mac. When he starts downloading, the game quits saying "ET quit unexpectedly". Can this be because the custom gtb files and Windows compatible only?

since et is quite old where is windows only to it BUT this might help or jusr tell your friend to google around hope it helps :]

Hi guys. My friend downloaded ET 2.60d version and it worked. He even replaced the etkey with his old one. Since he has the ET2.60d version, does he still need to download the 2.60b patch?

not entirely sure which one is newer but he will need newest one cause ussualy servers run on as new as possible patches if you know what i mean but most patches are just minor bugs so he should still be able to play normaly

for best results, i always install the 2,60 patch and then the 2,60b. And maybe after that, the 2,60d which seems to be the newest. Cool

I didnt know there's the 2.60d patch. I have 2.60b patch. Please not my friend uses Mac.

this one is specificly for macs...i think but he needs to instlall 2.60 then 2.60 b then this and im quite sure that he can also install 2.60d

Regarding the second, think that's the exact site he used to donwload the ET 2.60d version for MAC! But i dont know if there's a 2.60d PATCH!
